When we began to change to a plant-based diet, we discovered that nearly all plant-based nutritional resources use mushrooms as a source of flavor and texture. Adding a mushroom allergy to this change made it even more challenging. We are not alone, one in ten people suffer from mushroom allergies. This blog is dedicated to our experiments and experiences while eating a plant-based diet free of mushrooms.
